Last week we talked about Deftones vocalist Chino Moreno making it (what we thought to be) abundantly clear that Deftones were taking it easy in 2014 and wanted to get back into the business of writing a new record sometime next year. Apparently the entirety of the Internet misunderstood him, according to an interview he recently conducted with Pulse of the Radio.
"I think we're all excited to make some noise together again, so I think right now we're looking at, planning-wise, of doing that, and hopefully have a record or material to go record by the end of the year or early next year."
I guess "ready to go" means that there will be material ready for studio time and not done up material ready to be released? Seriously Moreno, be clearer with these kinds of things! We're hanging on your every word!
