From its initial album Rabid Death's Curse in 2000 to The Wild Hunt in 2013, Watain maintained a pretty regular schedule of releasing a new album every three years. For whatever reason, Watain remained silent album-wise ever since The Wild Hunt, but that's going to change come January 5, 2018!
Sure, it's a little far in advance to be announcing a new album, but for a band the size of Watain, I'd venture to say that the fanbase will remain just as exited from this very moment right up to release date. No word on what the album will be called, but it seems like it'll feature the same lineup Watain has had ever since 1998.
