Whitechapel will be hitting the road this November and December with Carnifex and a few others in celebration of its 2007 debut album The Somatic Defilement, though it also seems like album #7 is brewing.
According to the Instagram of guitarist Alex Wade, the band seems to be working on the coming album currently, and will hit the studio after the anniversary tour. Though those shows are taking place in November, so maybe Whitechapel is planning on writing in the studio and then wrapping up recording before the tour?
It's also worth noting Whitechapel does not have an official replacement for drummer Ben Harclerode, who drummed for the band between 2011 and 2017 and departed the group earlier this year.
