Rob Scallon recently recorded an acoustic track onto a wax cylinder with a 100-year old Edison Wax Cylinder Phonograph. The recording didn't sound great but it still worked and you could still differentiate between the two guitars during playback. The same cannot be said about a full metal band.
Scallon and crew recorded a whole song onto a wax cylinder and the results are predictably terrible. I guess 1908 just couldn't djent the way 2018 can, you know?
