UK acoustic unit Boomin took the usually powerful ballad "Rose Of Sharyn" by Killswitch Engage, and really stripped it down. It's not quite a folky cover, considering there's a decent amount going on, but it's definitely got a down home feel. Not to mention it's an inventive cover that still retains the magic of the original!
