There are far too many bands nowadays who have found themselves in the pigeonhole of being stuck within one genre or style. With a 'once you've deathcore-d or djent-ed, that's all you'll ever do' mentality, it has become increasingly sparse to witness modern bands branch out and experiment. Fortunately, there's always diamonds in the rough. Anima Tempo most certainly is the epitome of a musical act who is more than willing to experiment in multiple styles.
We're excited to exclusively premiere the band's debut single and music video, "Primal Symmetry," which at first glance appears to concoct a metalcore-fueled anime theme song, yet quickly evolves into djent and deathcore town alike Born of Osiris or Veil of Maya. However you want to categorize them, it's undeniable that these guys bring the weird and eclectic factor back to the metal realm. Anima Tempo made the following statement in regards to the new song, "We consider without questioning that this new single for our second album will definitely set a new era for our music and the way it is developed. We're pretty anxious and excited for you to catch, listen, and immerse yourselves in the search for your primal symmetry." Check out more info on the band here.
