DAVE MUSTAINE Calls Out Aggressive Security Guard During MEGADETH Show

"You don't need to go up on the f*cking barricade and point at people."

Megadeth played the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, TN on May 6 and had to deal with what Dave Mustaine deemed to be an aggressive security guard. Before launching into "She-Wolf," Mustaine called the guard out for being overly-aggressive about people in the crowd moshing, adding that he'd ask for the guard to be removed if things didn't cool down.

"Hey, mister security dude. You there. Stop interfering with our show. Okay? You don't need to go up on the fucking barricade and point at people. Everybody's having fun. Cool it or I'll ask for you to be taken out of the pit. Do you understand me? Do we have a fucking understanding here? Don't do it again."

Mustaine then took a beat and added "I'm sorry, you guys. It's just I don't want your show to be fucked with by a bunch of fucking people that don't know why they're here."

In a previous interview published in early April, Mustaine said the band is gearing up to release their new record The Sick, The Dying, And The Dead on (so far) July 8 and is planning to release a new single "Killing Time" to radio "any day now.

"We know that the whole entire thing is scheduled for July 8th. And the hopes are that we stay on schedule with that. And I know that we've got a single that is gonna be serviced to radio any day now. It's a song called 'Killing Time'. Obviously, that's [written about] somebody in my past, but it's not as obvious as it sounds; it's wasting your time, not time to kill things. And it had to do with some of the situations that myself and the different band guys have gotten themselves into with the band over time. And I'm sure a lot of people are gonna relate with that. So that one, it's gonna be sent to radio, gosh, any day now."

Megadeth is currently wrapping up their tour with Lamb Of God, Trivium, and In Flames.
