Swedish progressive metallers Eastern High are here today to bring some serious doom and gloom by way of their new single "Morning Star", alongside a music video directed by Tommy Erichson.
"'Morning Star' represent the more melodic and experimental side of Eastern High and is the second single and music video from our upcoming sophomore album, Halo," said the band. "If compared with the darker and more straight forward first single 'Emperor', 'Morning Star' gives you a lighter and a more progressive song structure. The video is made as a sequel to 'Emperor' and mirrors day and night, fear and courage."
Eastern High will release their new album Halo on July 30. The album was recorded by Eastern High at Eastern High Studio, mixed and produced by Erik Wiss at Tone Tension Productions, and mastered by Thomas "Plec" Johansson (Solution .45) at The Panic Room.
