When you think German metal, the name Rammstein almost has to pop up regardless of your opinion of them. The band has been around for 25 years at this point and have made a huge name for themselves around the world. But what about in their homeland of Germany? In a new video from Easy German, citizens of the country interviewed reveal they don't really pay much attention to the band, and didn't pay much attention to the recently controversial "Deutschland" music video either.
One German even points out that Rammstein is a pretty big deal in America because "they just like this, this German thing and they think it's kind of cool, and because it's so foreign." Which is a fair assessment.
Rammstein's self-titled new album is out May 17.
