Heavy and vicious, there is something incredibly addictive about the latest single from Utah-based Swine of Dissent. If there were any songs out there that made me attempt to headbang harder than this one, I probably would need medical attention.
Personally, I love that this exists somewhere in the borderlands of melodic death and thrash. Defined by high powered riffs, demented vocals and stellar production, their new single "From The Ashes" off of their upcoming record, An Uprising, is a masterful offering and a potent musical statement.
