I had an extremely tough time trying to describe Sibiir in the headline, because I genuinely have no idea what to call this band. There are riffs that sound like they belong in a black metal song, little passages that are borderline grindcore, and chorus bits that sound like old-school thrash. Whatever you want to call it, Sibiir is fucking great and is releasing its self-titled album on December 9.
