Nearly 20 years after their last effort, Celestial Seasons is back with their new album The Secret Teachings on October 23. The band is now streaming their progressively slower track "Lunar Child", which bassist and drummer Jason Köhnen said is a continuation of a song from 1995.
"'Lunar Child' is one of our favourites off the new album and it’s the cosmic sequel to the legendary 'Solar Child' track from the Solar Lovers album," said Köhnen. "The video is a kind of abstract story covering existentialism, death, life in the universe and our place in it.
"Which are in some form a strong basis of the themes covered in The Secret Teachings, although we have worked towards a more central theme of 'hope' as the main element on the album. 23rd October sees the official release date of the new album The Secret Teachings 25 years after the classic Solar Lovers."
