The Arson Choir is a SoCal-based act who formed in 2014 and dropped their debut EP Trophy Nation a few years later. With songs wavering between the bombastic mathcore execution alike The Chariot and more old-school metalcore in the vein of Poison the Well, it's quite clear that the group has a finger on the pulse of high energy hardcore-driven music. More recently, the band dropped the first single off their upcoming EP titled Invisible Monsters, which is planned to release in the Fall via War Against Records. "Revenge, My Love" provokes feelings of The Dillinger Escape Plan as delightfully spastic rhythms evolve with the commanding vocals finding cohesion in the chaos. Diving deeper, the lyrics unearth vocalist Phil Penegar's perspective as a black man viewing the many injustices in our country. Watch the music video for the new single now.
