Tronos, the new band featuring bassist Shane Embury (Napalm Death, Brujeria), producer Russ Russell (At The Gates, Napalm Death) and drummer Dirk Verbeuren (Megadeth, ex-Soilwork), will release their debut album Celestial Mechanics on April 12. The record will also feature appearances from bassists Billy Gould (Faith No More), Troy Sanders (Mastodon) and Dan Lilker (Nuclear Assault), as well as vocalist Denis “Snake” Belanger (Voivod) and vocalist/violinist Erica Nockalls (The Wonder Stuff).
The band is streaming their new song "Judas Cradle" above alongside a very trippy music video. Here's what they had to say about the track.
“‘Judas Cradle‘ is our second single and shows more of the epic side of the album, It‘s a real journey into our musical trip, we really let loose on this one. Although on the surface the story is set in fantasy, lyrically it draws a strong parallel to the struggles of mankind living on this dying planet. It may appear very dark and depressing…but stick with it, there’s light and hope for us all!”
