When he's not making music with Trivium's Matt Heafy, guitarist Jared Dines is *checks notes* teaming up with 10s Custom Guitars to make a 20-string Mountain Dew axe because he's tired of being tagged in memes.
Dines told Rock Feed he seriously had this built because people kept tagging him in a meme he's seen and posted about in 2017. Which is dedication to a joke on a level that I personally will never attain.
“I figured what better way to stop the thousands of tags, all the time, of ‘Hey Jared, have you seen this picture?’, ‘Hey, have you seen this meme?’ I’ve seen it. Stop tagging me,” he said.
“This has been in the works for over half a year thanks to the wonderful people over at 10S guitars who agreed to help me make this beautiful monster of an instrument. It is fully functional as you can see in the video, sounds great, and definitely djents!”
