Angry Birds Evolution is a spin-off of the smash hit mobile game Angry Birds, introduced to the world in 2009 by Rovio. This Halloween, Rovio is celebrating by adding Eddie The Bird to Angry Birds Evolution on October 18 as a tribute to Iron Maiden. Eddie The Bird will be available as an unlockable character for two-weeks, though if you manage to unlock him, he'll stay downloaded into your game forever!
Here's what Rovio's VP of Games Miika Tams had to say about the collaboration.
"Our team is filled with massive Iron Maiden fans and Eddie was both our first choice and a natural fit in Angry Birds Evolution. It's about time his status as a true rock icon was celebrated and we know that fans will love seeing Eddie The Bird raise hell on Bird Island!"
