Aleister Black is easily the most metal superstar in WWE right now, and yes I'm counting Bray Wyatt. For weeks, he's been featured in mysterious vignettes on WWE's Friday night show, Smackdown, and last week he made his return, giving "good guy" Big E his spinkck finisher, known as the Black Mass.
I've been a fan of Aleister's since his indie days as Tommy End, but his WWE persona feels like it's the most metal thing on the show today and I love it. From his previous metal-as-fuqq entrance, to his theme song being performed live by Code Orange with Incendiary's vocalist, Black's persona always brought the metal style in.
Now, the WWE merch department is acting accordingly. The new Black shirt design looks like it would fit easily at the Maryland Deathfest merch booths.
I'm such a sucker for the unreadable logo. I can easily see this being a Satyricon shirt, or maybe even a Thy Art Is Murder shirt, if we're going in the deathcore realm. The shirt is available for $27.99 at WWEShop.
