So as much fun as Newsted is live, I have one gripe about the new single; it's off an album called Heavy Metal Music. After an EP called Metal. is the second album going to be called Super Heavy Metal Motherfucking Music?

Just in case you didn't realize I wasn't joking about hating the album title, I wasn't joking. The new song "Heroic Dose" is pretty cool for what it is though; heavy metal music. See? I can make sense of the album too if I want to, too. Having heard a good portion of the album live, I can tell you that this isn't going to be throwing any curve balls at you save for the sludgy-as-fuck closer "Nocturnus." It's all thrashy and everything you'd expect from Newsted at this point. The new song does take it up a notch though, and the album overall does as well. Take a listen and let me know what you think!
