MUTOID MAN (CONVERGE, CAVE IN) Debut First Song Ever, "Gnarcissist"

Mutoid Man, featuring members of Converge and Cave In, sounds exactly like what you'd hope a super heavy (and fast) version of Clutch would sound like; awesome.

I wasn't kidding about the Clutch comparison. Mutoid Man is duo consisting of Cave In vocalist and guitarist Steve Brodsky and Converge drummer Ben Koller, though I'd have to assume that Brodsky also plays bass on the record given there's bass in the song. The cool thing about "Gnarcissist" is that it takes all the anger Cave In and Converge usually convey, but channels in a much more… rock-ish way. It's interesting to hear it in that context, you know? Anyway, Mutoid Man set their debut album Helium Head to be released on November 29 through Magic Bullet/Nonbeliever Records… so get it then.
