When I think Revocation, I usually think ridiculously catchy riffs at breakneck speed. I'm not saying that their music is always like that, but that's generally the overarching theme (and it totally rocks). Which is why when I hit play on their new song "Madness Opus," I was blown right the hell away.
Sure, we'd heard a bootleg live version of the song that cut off at a certain point, but hearing the song as its intended to be heard is just jarring. Right from the get go it's all doom and gloom and that particularly gray haze off heaviness never quite lets up! Between this and the last single, consider me stoked. Check it out and pick up their brand new record Deathless when it comes out on October 14 via Metal Blade.
