According to The Publican's Morning Advertiser, metal icons Iron Maiden have now sold over 3.5 million pints of their beer worldwide in less than a year.
Demand for the beer has to be pretty crazy considering the alcohol had just hit 1 million pints brewed back in July of 2013! Think about that for a second! The beer got introduced in March of 2013, hit 1 million pints brewed (not sold) in July of 2013 and then hit the 3.5 million mark March of 2014. There had to be an insane demand for it! That's a lot of pints to put up considering it took five months just to hit the 1 million mark.
I guess with all this money pouring in, the band can take their time with new music. The band hinted at new music this year, but there have been no official announcements yet. Bassist Steve Harris previously said that the band would cease to exist in 2017, but who knows if that's true. Frontman Bruce Dickinson probably wouldn't mind, he's too busy saving the world anyway.
