On the heels of Skeletonwitch's new The Apothic Gloom EP comes the band's beer Red Death Sour! As with most metal-themed beers, the brew was crafted with 3 Floyds Brewery in Indiana, and will be available in the Chicago area, Indiana and select cities in OH, KY and WI.
According to the press release, the Red Death Sour is "a thirst-quenching tart ale with juicy hints of tropical fruit-pineapple, mellow funky cheese and a slight barnyard dry finish topped with cherry, raspberry, pear and plum aromas." The beer is 8.5% ABV, and looks very much like the following photo when bottled.
