Art Of Anarchy, the band featuring ex-Guns N' Roses guitarist Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal, Disturbed bassist John Moyer, Creed vocalist Scott Stapp, and then guitarist Jon Votta and drummer Vince Votta, are in court again.
According to SI Live, Stapp is being sued by Vice Inc., whose chief executive officer and principal executive officer are the Votta brothers, for "allegedly failing to tour with the band and participate in promotional photo and video shoots and publicity events as required by his contract."
The $1.2 million lawsuit was filed in New York State Supreme Court. The lawsuit claims Stapp was paid $200,000 for his services, which he did not provide. The lawsuit also claims that if Stapp dedicated himself to Art Of Anarchy the same way he dedicated himself to his solo career, Art Of Anarchy "would have had a successful concert tour and its record contract would not have been terminated."
According to the lawsuit, the band's contract with Stapp did not stop him from performing as a solo artist. Stapp played 80 shows as a solo artist in 2017 and 18 with Art Of Anarchy.
