Alexisonfire is now streaming their massive, semi-sludgy new single "Reverse The Curse." The single is off the coming Alexisonfire record Sweet Dreams Of Otherness, which is the band's first full-length album in 13 years. And judging by the singles we've heard so far, they haven't missed a beat.
"Some riffs stick around for a while until they make sense," said Alexisonfire's George Pettit. "'Reverse The Curse' has existed in one form or another since Crisis. There was even a version that we used as the original 'Young Cardinals' but that one wasn't meant to be. It found its way to creation during our covid rehearsals and I'm glad it's finally coming to light."
It's worth noting that Alexisonfire did release three new singles between 2019 and 2020 – "Familiar Drugs," "Complicit," and "Seasons Of The Flood" – none of which will appear on Sweet Dreams Of Otherness. Sweet Dreams Of Otherness was produced by the band and mixed by Jonah Falco (Fucked Up, Chubby and the Gang). Pre-orders are available here.
