BPMD, the covers project featuring vocalist Bobby Blitz (Overkill), drummer Mike Portnoy (The Winery Dogs, Sons of Apollo, ex-Dream Theater), bassist Mark Menghi (Metal Allegiance), and guitarist Phil Demmel (Vio-lence, ex-Machine Head), have paid tribute to the late and great Eddie Van Halen. The band covered Van Halen's 1979 track "D.O.A." off the Van Halen II record and they did great job!

"The world lost an icon, innovator, showman, virtuoso, master songwriter and perhaps one of the biggest inspirations ever to learn how to play guitar," said BPMD. "This video is meant to be a tribute to Ed, nothing more, and we hope you enjoy. We will always have Eddie in our hearts.”

BPMD recently released their debut album American Made, which you can grab here.
