Cradle Of Filth is here to make your cradle nice and filthy once again, thanks to their tasty new single "To Live Deliciously" and new album The Screaming Of The Valkyries due out March 21. Shout out toCradle Of Filth for putting out arguably some of their best material this late in their career – this band has been fucking unstoppable in the past decade.
"The song is about the celebration of life," said Cradle Of Filth frontman Dani Filth of the single. "Of indulging in everything unfettered from the conformities of religion, fashion or state. Free from guilt or constraint. As nature intended. It could be read as a hedonistic life code. And a positive one if not done at the expense or the suffering of others. To delight in simply 'being'. Being alive and free in the here and now."
The Screaming Of The Valkyries was produced, recorded, mixed and mastered by Scott Atkins at Grindstone Studios in Suffolk, England. Pre-orders are available here. And no, the record doesn't feature that Ed Sheeran song we've been hearing about for years.
Cradle Of Filth is also set to co-headline the Chaos & Carnage 2025 tour alongside Dying Fetus and openers Fleshgod Apocalypse, Ne Obliviscaris, Undeath, Vomit Forth, and Corpse Pile. The tour kicks off on April 17 at UC Theatre in Berkeley, CA and wraps up on May 14 at the Fillmore Auditorium in Denver, CO. Tickets are available here.
