Kris Norris (ex-Darkest Hour, ex-Scar the Martyr) and Ryan Parrish (ex-Darkest Hour, Iron Reagan) told MetalSucks a few years back that they were doing a new band. Said new band has now surfaced without a proper name, and a fully formed demo song currently titled "Kill The Memories" is available for your streaming pleasure.
It's a pretty solid mix of Demon Hunter-esque cleans and Darkest Hour thrash with a little bit of a symphonic element thrown in there as well. The band is currently fronted by Mark Haggblad, though MetalSucks says those vocals aren't final versions either. I thought it was pretty good, so here's hoping they keep going down this path at the very least.
