It's been four years since Exhumed released its last proper studio album, that being 2013's Necrocracy, but the band is back! Exhumed will release its new album Death Revenge on October 13 via Relapse Records, which will be the band's first concept album.
The band's sixth full-length sees them tread into ambitious new territory with their first concept album: a musical melodrama in thirteen parts based on shocking true events. Death Revenge takes place in the late 1820s in Edinburgh, Scotland and tells the macabre tale of a series of brutal murders where the victims' cadavers were sold to anatomists, amid a grisly underground trade of grave-robbery.
Death Revenge was recorded with producer Jarrett Pritchard (Goatwhore, Eternal, Gruesome), and you can check out the crusty, disgusting new track "Defends Of The Grave" below!
