Magnetic Eye Records will release The Wall (Redux) and The Best Of Pink Floyd this fall, which are two Pink Floyd cover albums that feature killer contributions The Melvins, ASG, Low Flying Hawks, Year Of The Cobra, Mark Lanegan, Pallbearer, and of course Howling Giant. The releases will cover Pink Floyd's classic album The Wall, as well as a bunch of their other songs.
You can check out Howling Giant's contribution to the latter with their cover of the band's 1967 track "Matilda Mother." It's a massive cover that takes Pink Floyd's psychedelic years to a whole new, modern metal level. You can pre-order both The Wall (Redux) and The Best Of Pink Floyd here.
You can also catch Howling Giant performing non-Pink Floyd, but equally fantastic, music on their tour this May.
