Michigan masters of melodic death metal Jesus Wept is now streaming the crushing Black Magnet remix of their 2019 single "Comfortably Dumb". The single is a part of the upcoming Jesus Wept and Trocar split White Room Torture due out July 28. Pre-orders are available here via Night Shift and here via Jesus Wept. "Jesus Wept strives to push boundaries with whatever we do and White Room Torture is our most sonically transgressive effort yet," said the band. "We wanted to explore a more experimental side and drew inspiration from some of our more understated influences, particularly industrial music. We also took considerable influence from Trocar’s sound.
"Black Magnet has been one of our favorite bands of the last few years and we were eager to work with them in some capacity. Given the tone and direction of White Room Torture, it seemed like a no-brainer to include our collaboration with them. This split offered us an avenue to work with two bands we admire greatly and explore different styles we may not have been able to in the past."
