Kings Destroy might be from New York, but they've got a serious desert-baked stoner rock vibe going on. Kings Destroy will release their new record Fantasma Nera on March 8, and we're proud to premiere the title track from the record today. With big chorus hooks, chunky riffs and slick leads, Kings Destroy is going to make you slow-bang your head all day long as "Fantasma Nera" never quite leaves your brain.
Here's what guitarist Carl Porcaro had to say about the record's title.
While touring in Italy with Rosetta a few years ago, one of the band members earned the nickname “Fantasma Nera,” Italian for “Black Ghost.” The term eventually found its way into this song as metaphor for the darkest part of human nature and the struggle to accept and embrace it.
Fantasma Nera was produced by David Bottrill (Tool, King Crimson, Stone Sour) and will be released by Svart Records.
