Former Obscura bassist Linus Klausenitzer has announced his debut solo album Tulpa for October 6. The album was inspired by the German book Die Sphinx from 1873 by Emil Besetzny and features a whole slew of notable musicians lending their talents to the project, including:

- Hannes Grossmann (Alkaloid, Triptykon, ex-Obscura, ex-Necrophagist): Drums (All Songs)
- Roland Grapow (Masterplan, Ex-Helloween) "King Of Hearts"
- Phil Tougas (First Fragment, Chthe'ilist) guest solo on "Axiom Architect"
- Ian Waye (Soreption) guest solo on "Our Soul Sets Sail" / "Sehraff Streaming" / "The Devil's Tongue" / "Queen Of Hearts"
- V. Santura (Triptykon) guest solo on "Sword Swallower"
- Dee Dammers (U.D.O., Dirkschneider) guest solo on "Sister In Black"
- Chris Hermsdörfer (Beyond The Black, Serenity) guest solo on "Dig Deeper"
- Nicolas Alberny (Gorod) guest solo on "Lunar Assailant"
