Septicflesh's new album Codex Omega is shaping up to be really damn good thus far, right? The first single "Dante's Inferno" got everyone's attention immediately, and we're pretty sure that attention will be kept with the band's new song "3rd Testament (Codex Inferno)."
Unlike its predecessor, there's not too much focus on the orchestral elements. Instead, this is as straight up death metal as Septicflesh gets, and it's fucking great. Codex Omega will also be the band's first album to feature Kerim "Krimh" Lechner (ex-Decapitated) on drums, who replaced Fotis Benardo in 2014.
Pre-order Codex Omega here before its September 1 release date.
