Spirit Adrift is back with yet another classic heavy metal banger loaded with old-school Ozzy riffs, this time in the form of "I Shall Return". I mean, what else is there to say about Spirit Adrift at this point? The project is incapable of anything less than a battle-vest-wearing, headbangng good time, every single time.
"At the intersection of heavy metal and metaphysical, the lyrics describe how we never truly die, and that the universe recycles our matter and energy in an infinite cycle," said Spirit Adrift frontman Nate Garrett of the track. "On a long enough timeline, maybe we do return."
