I am always on the lookout for the bands doing new and interesting things. I long for the bands who are exploring sonic boundaries and looking to push the envelope on the genre as a whole. That's what I have always loved and admired about Sycarian.
Despite their age or common limitations, they have a willingness to say "Fuck it" and hustle their way to the top. Sycarian represent a new breed of metal bands, a new level of confidence and power. Their progressive death metal sound is inspired by groups like Gojira, Tesseract, and The Black Dahlia Murder.
Deeply connected with their scene and seemingly always willing to branch out, this new track, 'Rediscovery' comes loaded with a mesmerizing lyric video and hints at much more to come from this North Jersey metal militia. Pushing towards the bands true potential, it's hard not to be mesmerized and routinely impressed by everything that these kids are bringing to the table.
