On July 22, Mudhoney, Melvins, Whores, Cherubs, Lydia Lunch Retrovirus, and The Blind Shake will be playing Bash 17 at Grumpy's in Minneapolis. To celebrate the show, it seems as though there's going to be a 10" compilation of new tracks from the participating bands, and predictably, Whores's contribution is fucking awesome. The new track "Flag Day," which is July 14 for all those confused by the title, is short, catchy, and has all the noise you can ever want in a track without going overboard.
Grab your tickets for Bash 17 here, and check out Whores's 2016 album Gold if you haven't already. I ended up hearing it this year, and I regret not making it my Album Of The Year in 2016.
