Bad Brains might not be a metal band but their DNA is all over some of the hardcore and metalcore you listen to today. There is certainly some riffage influence from guitarist Gary “Dr. Know” Miller, who is sadly not in the best of health.

This would be a huge loss to music. Our thoughts are with Miller on a speedy recovery and hope there are many toke sessions in his future.
