He Is Legend took five years between 2009's It Hates You and this year's Heavy Fruit, what with their breaking up and everything. Fortunately it doesn't seem like we'll have to wait that long again between records. That is unless guitarist Adam Tanbouz loses his damn phone again, in which case we're back in it for the long haul.
According to a recent interview with the group via Fast Company before a recent show, Tanbouz revealed he lost his phone in Europe, which contained all his ideas for the next record!
"'It was on the way to the airport coming back… I left my phone on top of a car, all my voice-memo song ideas, gone,' says Tanbouz. 'I guess I'll have to re-start writing for our upcoming record, which is kinda refreshing.'"
Take note! If you come across a phone in Europe with voice memos that sound like they could be He Is Legend songs… hit the band up.
