Good news! Obscura is in the studio right this very second recording the final album of its four album story that began with 2009's Cosmogenesis. This is what the band was teasing last week when it started talking about new coming regarding #theend.
According to bassist Linus Klausenitzer, Obscura is in the studio with Triptykon guitarist and long-time Obscura producer V. Santura recording the album. He also jokes that this is not the end of the band, and that the new album is the heaviest and most technical to date. This should also be exciting news to fans considering it means you won't have to wait five years like you did between Omnivium and Akróasis.
Needless to say, we're stoked! This is also the band's first album with guitarist Rafael Trujillo, who replaced short-lived guitarist Tom Geldschläger in 2015.
