BEHEMOTH Unveil The Incredible Artwork To The Satanist

When it comes to art, these guys don't fuck around.

When it comes to art, these guys don't fuck around.

Pre-orders for the next Behemoth album, The Satanist launched today. Here's the iTunes link and here's the Amazon.com link, and with it the band unveiled the artwork, and damn, is it powerful.

Here is the link to the hi-res album art file.

As for who designed the artwork, the band's press release has got you covered with that info:

The cover art for The Satanist was painted by renowned Russian painter and occultist, Denis Forkas (denisforkas.com). The paint used included some of Nergal's own blood! Additional art and design was completed by Metastazis (Paradise Lost, etc.) and Zbigniew Bielak (Watain, Ghost).

Well, you've really outdone yourself, Denis. Between the artwork, their awesome box set packaging and the incredible imagery of the band's recently release music video, "Blow Your Trumpets Gabriel," I am convinced that Behemoth is the most artistic band in metal.

As an added bonus, check out the single artwork for "Blow Your Trumpets, Gabriel"

Behemoth's The Satanist comes out February 4th, 2014 on Metal Blade Records.
