Metal Musicians Pay Tribute to ENTOMBED's L.G. Petrov – "THE Voice of Our Generation"

We were saddened to learn of the death of legendary Entombed vocalist L.G. Petrov earlier today. Petrov lost his battle with bile duct cancer and passed away on March 7 at the age of 49. The tributes from all over the metal world have begun pouring in.

Naturally, people had very touching things to say about the highly influential vocalist. Here is a roundup:

The word legend is to small to describe LG and what he meant for me as a friend and inspiration.
Not only was he one of the best and original voices in metal, but the most kind, humble, funny and genuine person one could ever hope to meet.

All the way up to his last days he seemed optimistic about his situation and had time for making fun. We’re thankful that we got to perform with him on several occasions. Dear LG safe travels and rock on, we love you.
