With half of a brand new lineup in tow, that being new guitarist Tom "Fountainhead" Geldschläger and drummer Sebastian Lanser, Obscura will be headed to the studio this spring! The band will be recording with longtime producer V. Santura and, according to the Relapse Records website, the album will be out at some point late this spring.
It'll be the first Obscura album in four years and let's not pretend for even one second that we're not super stoked! Guitarist and vocalist Steffen Kummerer is.

2009's Cosmogenesis and 2011's Omnivium were very different from one another, so it'll be really interesting to hear what four years has done to further the group's already evolving sound!
