Witherscape, comprised of the prolific Dan Swanö (ex-Bloodbath, Edge of Sanity, etc.) manning vocals, keyboards and drums and Shadowquest's Ragnar Widerberg doing all the string work via guitar and bass, will be dropping A New Tomorrow on December 9 via Century Media Records.
The release will consist of a new song titled "A New Tomorrow," an extended version of "Dead For A Day" from the group's 2013 debut record The Inheritance titled "Dead For Another Day," and then covers of Warrior's "Defenders of Creation," Kiss' "World Without Heroes" and Judas Priest's "Out In The Cold." The digital download version of the record will include covers of Gentle Giant's "A Cry for Everyone" and another Priest cover, this time in the form of "Last Rose of Summer."
The press release regarding A New Tomorrow also says the group's sophomore LP will be out late 2015. Hell yeah!
