Amoeba Music does these great videos where they get a famous artist in their store, and have them buy some records and then explain their purchases. This time around, they get Behemoth's Nergal into the establishment, where he voices his love of The Cult and Mark Lanegan. He jokingly picks up a Babymetal record, and then pretty much immediately shuts it down.
So I guess after all the love Babymetal gets from major metal acts, we can't count Negal as one of 'em.
