Derek Smalls, the bassist of the most famous band that never was, will release his first solo effort Smalls Change (Meditations Upon Ageing) on April 13. It seems like a logical extension of Spinal Tap in that it's musically pretty great, though the lyrics and delivery are pretty funny… but it's still gonna get stuck in your head.
The album will feature songs called "Butt Call," "Gimme Some (More) Money," and "She Puts The Bitch In Obituary," and will feature members of Foo Fighters, Steely Dan, The Hungarian Studio Orchestra, Dweezil Zappa, Peter Frampton, Steve Vai, and a ton more.
