Fresh off winning the Golden Globe win for Best Original Score for their contributions to Disney's Soul, Nine Inch Nails' Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross are nominated twice in the Best Original Score category of the 93rd annual Academy Awards.
Reznor and Ross got a nomination for their score for David Fincher's Mank, and share a nomination with Late Show band leader Jon Batiste for Disney's Soul.
Reznor and Ross won the award a decade ago for their score for The Social Network.
The competition this year includes:
Terence Blanchard (Da 5 Bloods),
Emile Mosseri (Minari),
James Newton Howard (News of the World).
When winning the Golden Globe, Reznor quipped “This is the first work of art I’ve ever made that I can show to my kids.”
