Metallica's lead single "All Within My Hands" from their coming symphonic live album S&M² has earned them the No. 12 spot on Billboard's Mainstream Rock Songs. The debut is the best debut any rock song has had on the chart since "Cut the Cord" by Shinedown debuted at No. 9 in 2015.
S&M² was recorded at San Francisco's Chase Center on September 6 and September 8, 2019. The full set is over 2.5 hours and is 20 tracks, two of which are classical songs chosen by San Francisco Symphony Music Director Michael Tilson Thomas. Pre-orders are available here.
