Just a few days after the rest of his band walked out on him for erratic behavior, we learn that Puddle of Mudd frontman Wes Scantlin was arrested outside his home in Los Angeles.
According to TMZ, the incident actually happened last month, when cops got a call about a burglary of a car happening in Wes's driveway. When cops arrived, Wes was seen running back into his house and he refused to come out and that's when the fun started.
After repeated attempts for Wes to comply with them, the LAPD on the scene called in 30 other police officers essentially in SWAT gear for a standoff with some very big guns. Eventually, Wes' door was busted down and he was arrested. Turns out they were not burglarizing the car, but just trying to get it to jump start.
However, Wes was arrested for a previously outstanding warrant. No word on why other people in the house were arrested, what the warrant was for, or why they needed 30 cops, but this is just another item in a long list of red flags showing that Scantlin really needs to get some help.
