It looks like Wes Scantlin's partying days may be behind him. The Puddle of Mudd frontman made headlines when his band walked out on him last April, and before that when neighbors called the bomb squad on him. He was also wanted for no-showing a court appearance. after being arrested on April 30 in Hermosa Beach, CA for an outstanding warrant. This happened just one month after his band walked out on him for erratic behavior and two months after cops showed up in SWAT gear to arrest him. He recently got arrested for trying to board a plane with a BB gun. But it seems he's trying to put all that behind him.
Puddle Of Mudd will tour this August and September with Saliva, Tantric, Shallow Side Flesh, Soil, and The Veer Union. More importantly, this is the first time Puddle Of Mudd frontman Wes Scantlin will be out on the road after going to rehab.
When Saliva posted the news on their Facebook page, a fan asked if Wes could be trusted. The band responded saying Wes has been doing well and has been out of rehab for over six months.
"Wes has been doing great. We played with him in Tampa in March. He's been sober on the road for over 6 months."
We wish Scantlin all the best in his ongoing sobriety, and you can go see the full trek below.
